Avatar Systems, Inc. is based in Dallas and Midland and Tyler, Texas. The company provides enterprise resource solutions for companies engaged in the petroleum exploration and production industry. Currently, Avatar has a growing customer base of over 300 clients on its Petroware™ products, approximately 40 customers using the company's Avatar400™ IBM AS/400 product, and 100 customers subscribing to its ASP services.
Avatar launched its popular ASP (Application Service Provider) RAPID™ product in 1998, and in 2000 released its 32-bit Windows-based product, Petroware2000™. In 2005, Avatar rolled out its total information management solution, iSynergy. Avatar's comprehensive product portfolio enables its customers to manage their petroleum-oriented businesses most effectively.
