ScanSpeed - Production Scanning
ScanSpeed is designed for production level scanning where documents can be
batched for maximum throughput. Using the ISIS interface, ScanSpeed is compatible
with over 350 scanners including: Fujitsu, Canon, Kodak, Bell&Howell,
Ricoh, Panasonic, AGFA, BancTec and more ranging in speeds from 20 pages
per minute (PPM) to over 240 PPM.
Easy to Use
The simple graphical user interface is user friendly and intuitive making
ScanSpeed very easy to use. Powerful scanning profiles can be created to
automate the capture functionality including batch level indexing. User-defined
profiles allow for flexible scanner configuration management even for the
most complex requirements ensuring a high quality capture process with very
little end-user training.
Powerful, Scalable
ScanSpeed is 100% scalable and can be implemented in virtually any scanning environment. An iSynergy Solution can use one or hundreds of scanners. ScanSpeed provides batch indexing capabilities and scanner operator tracking to support remote scanning activities while ensuring quality in the process. And because ScanSpeed is pre-integrated with the entire iSynergy suite, mass deployment and implementation is a breeze!
iScan - Interactive Scanning
iScan is designed for interactive scanning or scanning on demand and is perfect for small volume scanning at the desktop level. iScan is typically used when scanning and indexing occur at the same time such as: walk-up scanning (encounter based scanning), exception processing, trailing document capture, document modification or fax processing.
Integration
iScan can be embedded into third-party products to allow easy integration of scanning into key-line-of-business applications. Index values can be passed to iScan or retrieved from an external database to eliminate manual or duplicate keying. iScan allows you to put scanning into any application: Accounting, LOS, ERP, CRM or in-house solutions. With iScan, it is fast and easy.
Exception Processing
Exception processing is a challenge in any automated solution, but with iScan exceptions are processed with little effort. Correcting mis-scans, reordering pages, adding trailing or missing documents, processing imported documents, sifting through faxes are all effortless with iScan. iScan can also be used as a high-speed indexing station using external database look-ups to automated data entry.

ScanSpeed uses a robust suite of image-processing filters to maximize the quality of the scanned documents. Each filter is designed to perform a specific enhancement task such as de-skew, de-speckle or black border removal. These filters can be used individually or in sequence to deliver the optimal digital result.

With built-in quality review and control, ScanSpeed and iScan empower you to inspect documents as they are scanned or upon the completion of scanning a batch of documents. Document review controls allow you to move through the batch and review the quality of documents before they are saved.
