iSynergy Server User Licenses
iSynergy Server is the Web-based interface that allows users to securely access documents stored in the iSynergy repository. It is the system for managing and archiving documents captured utilizing scanners, fax servers, or digital copier/printers (MFD's). iSynergy Server can meet the needs of any size business from a single user to the entire enterprise.
xTractor
xTractor is used to eliminate the burden of data entry from document capture and indexing. xTractor provides image processing and recognition technologies to enable the automated reading of barcodes and text from scanned documents. Defined templates allow automated sorting and document type assignment with field-based index recognition. The recognized index information is used to file the documents into the iSynergy repository eliminating manual indexing.
ScanSpeed and iScan
ScanSpeed and iScan are used for batch and interactive scanning and indexing. They are the capture front-end to the iSynergy solution that allows you to get rid of the paper. Both ScanSpeed and iScan are completely integrated into iSynergy and require no scripting or programming to work. Using ISIS drivers, iSynergy is compatible with over 350 scanners ranging from desktop to high-volume production.
Multi-Function Service
Equivalent to a scanner module, the Multi-Function Service provides connectivity to external image sources such as multi-function copiers, fax servers or other third-party equipment to deliver images into the iSynergy repository.
BarCoder
BarCoder increases productivity of document capture by automating the indexing process. BarCoder creates cover sheets at the click of a mouse with user-defined barcodes for quick and accurate document indexing.
iSynergy-SBS is a single machine license of the iSynergy product suite and is limited to running on a single machine. iSynergy-SBS can be flexibly configured from a basic single user solution and is expandable up to a maximum of 25 users. Larger implementations must use iSynergy Enterprise. Multiple users can access iSynergy through the iSynergy Web Server using IE 6.0 or Higher. iSynergy SBS ships with the MSDE version of SQL Server and SBS is limited to running only MSDE.
iSynergy SBS can be easily upgraded with additional users or expanded to the Enterprise version of iSynergy to accommodate using the full version of SQL, separating the iSynergy component programs to other servers or expanding to a full enterprise implementation. iSynergy SBS also works with iLink, Avatar Systems's point-and-click image enabling program. iLink can be used with most Windows programs and image scanning retrieval functions.
