Automated Indexing
Xtractor eliminates manual data entry by using advanced recognition technologies to enable the computer to read text, barcodes, check boxes and more from scanned documents. Xtractor is capable of sorting documents by document type and routing them to the appropriate virtual filing cabinet. Recognized information from the page is used to automatically file documents into the iSynergy Repository. Xtractor can search out valuable data from scanned pages such as SSN, Phone Number, Account Number, Invoice Number or other formatted data to use as index fields for document retrieval. This makes the iSynergy search results highly accurate and effective for automating the filing process. Advanced sub-page processing allows Xtractor to find documents within documents and break them out. Xtractor can also find data "tags" to hunt out valuable data floating on the page to use as indexes.

Ease of Use
Xtractor is completely integrated into the iSynergy Solution eliminating any need for third-party integration, programming or scripting. All of Xtractor's features are easily accessed through an icon driven user interface and is application aware, so Xtractor knows the configuration and details of iSynergy defined applications. Xtractor's robust user interface provides rapid creation of new data extraction templates without the need for IT assistance or support. Xtractor delivers high-performance recognition and indexing automation with just the click of mouse.

Xtractor easily shares information with other information systems in an enterprise. Recognized data from Xtractor can be shared with other third-party application to further reduce data entry or duplicated effort. For example, recognized data can be shared with accounting systems to notify the receipt of checks or invoices; insurance systems can be notified about received applications and claims; medical systems can receive data about new patient history, insurance information and fee slips, etc. There is no limit to the amount of automation that can be applied to the data collection needs of businesses with Xtractor.
