Payroll

The Petroware2000 Payroll Module accommodates all payroll needs. It maintains employee records, calculates payroll and payroll deductions, prints employee’s checks, prepares payroll-related tax reports, generates entries to the General Ledger accounts and prints payroll reports.

  • Prepares payroll for any period: daily, weekly, biweekly, semimonthly, quarterly, or annually.
  • Calculates federal and state income tax withhold, FICA, unemployment taxes and workers’ compensation.
  • Prepares reports by department, if applicable or by company for any period, i.e. monthly, quarterly, or annually.
  • Accrues vacation and sick leave and reports remaining entitlement on check stubs.
  • Prepares reports detailing data for Forms 940 and 941.
  • Deducts pre-tax contributions for 401(k) plans or employee cafeteria benefit plans.
  • Provides for user-defined pay types and deductions and allows for additional user-defined federal income tax (FIT) withholding.
  • Allocates labor costs and employer-paid taxes to lease/wells to be joint billed.
  • Offers a voided check feature.
  • Automatically calculates overtime, holiday pay, and shift premiums.
  • Processes direct-deposit payroll without printing checks.
  • Maintains personnel records including hire dates, pay-rate increases, and time spent and time remaining for vacation and sick leave.
  • Calculates tax withheld for multiple states.
  • Prints W-2’s and 1099’s.
  • Allows the user to allocate payroll and expenses to leases and/or wells.
