Financial Report
Writers
The Avatar 400 financial report writers are completely user defined. This allows
the user to not only decided what order the accounts are to print, but also where
to insert headings and totals. In addition to the way the reports are formatted,
the user has the ability to have multiple formats (up to 99) for each corporation.
This allows the user to have a format they wish to use in-house, one for the
bank, one for the auditors, etc.
When the user prints the financials, the system will ask for a corporation number,
or a consolidation list, which is a selection of corporations. You can either
select one accounting period, or a range of months. The screen below allows the
user to select up to 4 different periods to report. Each period will print as
a separate column on the report.
An accounting period does not have to be closed in order to print financials
for that period. The financials are as current as the last entry made to the
general ledger.
When processing the financials the user has the option of printing a report,
creating a file, or both. If you choose to create a file, this file can be easily
downloaded to your PC.

- Can be run for any given accounting period (past, present, or future)
- Accounting period does not have to be closed in order to print financials.

Printing of Financials
The user has the choice of printing different kinds of financial reports. One
is the standard financials, another is the comparative financials, and the third
is the 15 column report.
Standard financials
This report gives you the ability to include a date range for the report.
Comparative financials
This report gives you the ability to include 4 different date ranges for the
report.
15 Column financials
This report gives you the ability of having up to a 15-column report. Each column
can be a different date range, a different company, a consolidation of multiple
companies, or a calculation of any of the 15 columns.
